Design and launch a more intuitive data insights platform that engages data experts and non experts alike.

Intro

As the lead, I fostered a collaborative environment, working closely with teams across the business to deliver a product that not only met all business goals but also improved all current internal and external user experiences. Also, to significantly enhance new customer acquisition and contract renewal.

GWI aimed to develop a new platform to simplify data findings and make uncovering data insights more intuitive. This was to solidify their lead in the market.

Querying

Designed a new user experience for queries that were familiar but gave current users more flexibility and addressed many of their existing pain points. We also created an easier way for new users to browse the data and a more digestible data visualisation.

Audiences

We decided to help new users understand market research through the lens of their target audience by making audiences central to the new experience. The new audience builder used more natural language and gave users insights without having to make complicated queries.  

Reports

GWI-created content offered a lot of insight. With the new version, we allowed users to share the insights they had discovered on GWI to social media to help increase traffic to the platform. But we also allowed users to plug their created audiences into the insights found to understand better how their audiences would affect or be affected by the data.

Design System

While designing and testing, we created a flexible design system. Our main goal was to allow the design team to scale while still delivering a consistent user experience across the entire platform.
